Full Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Bari and Supreme Court lawyer, he has an outstanding academic background: law degree with honours (110/110) in Bari, Master of Laws LL.M. magna cum laude from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, PhD in Business Crisis Law from the University of Naples, diploma from the Academy of American and International Law in Dallas, and specialisation in Business English Law and Company and Taxation Law at London Guildhall University. His expertise ranges from commercial law to competition law, from the law of corporate groups in crisis to North American and comparative law, with an international perspective developed in European and US academic contexts. Since 2017, he has served as President of the Southern Adriatic Sea Port System Authority, combining academic excellence, legal practice and high-level institutional responsibility. He is a leading figure in the Italian commercial law landscape for his scientific rigour, international profile and commitment to public institutions.
