United States: $1.2 Trillion Infrastructure Plan Receives Final Approval

BMV is pleased to announce that the United States House of Representatives has approved President Joe Biden’s long-awaited infrastructure package worth more than $1 trillion, following an agreement reached between progressive and moderate Democrats.

The $1.2 trillion package was approved on 5 November and includes $550 billion in new investments to modernise transportation networks, expand broadband access and improve public utility infrastructure. It represents the most significant legislative achievement approved by Congress since President Biden took office and marks a major political victory, both because of its historic scale and the bipartisan compromise that made its approval possible.
