Scott Bolden in Italy: An Opportunity for Italian Industry to Engage with the U.S. Market

Scott Bolden, prominent U.S. attorney and Managing Partner of Reed Smith’s Washington, D.C. office, will be in Italy next week, accompanied by Fabio Marazzi, Senior Managing Partner at BMV Law Tax Finance.

Together, they will meet with leading industrial associations in Northern Italy to discuss issues of particular interest to companies seeking business opportunities in the United States.

Among the meetings scheduled are discussions with ANIMA Confindustria, the Confindustria trade association representing companies in the mechanical engineering sector, with more than 1,000 member companies, and UCIMU, the association of Italian manufacturers of machine tools, robots, automation systems and related products, whose members account for more than 70% of Italy’s sector output.

Meetings are also planned with major international organisations based in Italy, including Pictet, one of Europe’s leading independent investment firms, and Mazars, a global consulting firm active in audit and tax services, supporting SMEs, multinational companies and private clients.

The visit reflects BMV’s commitment to creating further internationalisation opportunities for Italian companies in the U.S. market.

In this context, BMV recently welcomed William Erb as Of Counsel. Mr Erb is a distinguished U.S. attorney with more than 30 years of experience, including work with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Department of Justice (DOJ).
